NACHA Request for Information - Payment Related Information via Expanded Addenda Records

NACHA is issuing the Request for Information (RFI) to gather information and perspectives on the possible expansion of the number and types of addenda records available for use with ACH payments to make it easier for more end-users to receive and interpret payment related information on a timely basis.  Information and feedback is requested by Friday, May 15, 2014.

The RFI consists of three documents:

The 2013 Federal Reserve Payments Study is the fifth in a series of triennial studies conducted since 2001 by the Federal Reserve System to estimate aggregate trends in noncash payments in the United States.  Estimates are based on survey data gathered from depository institutions, payment networks, processors and issuers.
