Workshop Directions

MACHA is pleased to make available an ACH Financial Literacy tookit which is a program the can be branded for your organization.  It was developed to promote electronic payments and financial literacy and contains information on both ACH Direct Deposit and Direct Payments.

The toolkit consists of a presentation with a script and quick reference handouts.  These resources should provide a general understanding of ACH electronic payments while promoting the quality and safety of electronic payments made via ACH.

As payment systems continue to evolve, it is critical that staff have the latest access to information and training.  Recognizing MACHA's commitment to provide its membership with comprehensive education, we offer a wide array of ACH, Card and Check payment-related programs.  MACHA's extensive training programs offer something for everyone in the payments industry.

The National Check Payments Certification Program is intended to recognize an elevated level of payments acumen among payment professionals.

Through the certification process, National Check Professionals (NCPs) will demonstrate a working knowledge of every significant aspect of the new check payment system including products and operations, relevant rules and laws that govern checks, industry standards and fraud and risk mitigation considerations.  Additionally, NCPs will explore those characteristics of check payments and make checks unique among payments and that continue to provide lasting value for tens of billions of payments each year valued at tens of trillions of dollars.
